Unfortunately, from what I read over at Tanya Huff's livejournal (andpuff I think), the sales for this series weren't that good, so it's unlikely that her publishers will agree to buy more books in the series.

I really enjoyed LMT as well! On various message boards, a few people were unhappy with the lack of overt sexual tension between Steph and Ranger, but I really enjoyed seeing the more friendly day-to-day moments between them.

Ok, did you get the vibe like I did that Steph has chosen, and that's the reason for the lack? She's drawn to Ranger, sure, but I think that's about it.

I loved Ranger lamenting how he used to be such a bad ass!

I didn't really get the vibe that she's chosen. I just get the feeling that she's more comfortable with Joe and his life. Then again, that may be because I'm a Joe-hater. Poo on Joe.

LMAO! I damn near spit soda through my nose reading that!

But yeah, she is definitely more comfortably and relaxed with Joe's life than Ranger's.
