Is saying that your face will stay like that when you make a face a common Hungarian thing? I've heard it a lot in the US too.

That's interesting, though. I don't think we have many food that do not have paprika. We're like "oh well, let's put some paprika in it just in case." And it magically becomes delicious, lol.
Hmm, it's common to say it to children. I remember being afraid that my face will stay that way.
