Now I know why my grandmother could not drive cars. I was little, like five, and I wondered, why can't grandma drive? Because she couldn't drive she was forced to rely on other people to take her places. I vowed I would never be like my grandma, I would always learn how to do new things

Hi! I'm assuming this is a private message via LiveJournal? In that case, all you have to do is go to that person's journal. If you use the navigation bar, the data referring to your friend should be on the righthand side. For example, my navigation bar currently says: celesteel is your mutual friend. And below that are links for Manage Friends, Send vgift, Send message, and Calendar. If you click on "Send message," it will take you to a "Compose Message" box, and all you have to do is type whatever you want to say.

Does this make sense? I'm still using the old version of LJ, so this may not be true of the new, "improved" version. And if you don't use the navigation bar, you can go to their profile page, and there will be links across the top, including "send message."

I am going to try now. I am also on the old version. That's the whole deal, why do I have to learn something new when I've barely learned the old way. Thanks for your help!
