Graduation

Today was the Graduation ceremony at my Junior High School. I couldn't go last year, so this was the first one I've been to. The concept of "graduation" is very important here. Interesting about the whole separate but equal grad ceremonies thing...actually, I think the entire Japanese culture education from these blogs has been very interesting. I've really enjoyed all of it!

I've been reading your entries for over a year XD Not creepy like, I just would LOVE to do this too. I'm really jealous actually lol.

did you go through a program? What program did you go through? Or did you just come over to Japan and interview?

:) I would love some advice as I'm looking to be an English teacher in Japan after I graduate next year!

I came here through a very small program that only has spots for three people, and only graduates of my college.

However, there are many programs operating in Japan. A friend of mine did JET, perhaps the best well known. I did not have to interview in Japan. Neither does JET, though I know there are programs where you do have to.
