My Bishop-obsession is driving me nuts...

Oh yeah, and what professionally productive venture have I been up to these past couple of months? *note: sarcastic*

Neverwinter Nights 2 - both the original campaign and the Mask of the Betrayer. (Aside: I initially didn't want to play because I thought the PC 'face' options were fugly--unless you download a hackpack, that is. That, and I loved Baldur's Gate 2 to pieces but found the first Neverwinter Nights game to be rather blah. It so happened that I was bored enough to try it one day and... well, here I am now. Ah.)

The following are a few screencaps I took of my OC playthrough. Mostly Bishop and Avrilune, my PC, plus some group pictures (the love triangle thing with Casavir, some party pics with Khelgar, Grobnar, etc.). Posting here because I can, of course. Why else? :D

((Edit: I wouldn't really call these 'photo manipulations', since all were taken originally in-game.) SOP was that I switched to Camera mode by hitting *, then H (to hide all those pesky toolbars and buttons), then used the Page Up, Page Down, and the directional buttons on the keyboard to tilt or zoom the camera to a more photo-friendly angle, then hit PrintScreen. Voila! Pausing the game using the spacebar key to preserve a 'moment' also helps.

One of my fave screencaps. Took it at Nolaloth's Valley. The only other beef I have with this (besides the two hunks beside my player character, of course :P) is that I couldn't capture the moon fully.

Whoo.

My player character, Avrilune Frei. I've always wanted to role-play as a blue-skinned tiefling; don't you? *Glance* Well, she's supposed to have dark blue skin, but the lighting gives it all sorts of dark velvety shades. And yes, taken with the white hair and the yellow-gold eys, she sorta looks like an unnaturally tall drow... with horns.

_Bishop...
... *Maidenly sigh* Will I ever find real love again? This guy is just... *sigh*. I'm beginning to think I have a ranger/archer fetish. First my obsession with Rufus (Valkyrie Profile 2); now Bishop (Neverwinter Nights 2)...

Other stuff...

Wishing Aloud:

--WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD IF YOU DID NOT FINISH/HAVEN'T PLAYED THE NWN 2 OC--

I'm hoping that Obsidian Entertainment would consider 'fleshing out' the Neverwinter Nights 2 original campaign--that is, adding the companion quests and additional story/backgrounds that were scrapped because of time constraints--then re-release the 'updated' edition.
Fan-made mods are cool (hello, the uber-greatness that is the BIshop Romance Mod... oh yeah, and the Romance flirtpacks for the other chars!), but still one couldn't help but wonder what the 'canon' would be like. Plus, the conflicting/confusing bits of info re Red Fallow's Watch (according to Elanee, it was 'claimed by the Mere over fifty years ago'; according to Nevalle and Lord Nasher, it was marauded by orcs some years back; and as per Bishop--he personally burned it down... so what gives?) is a plot hole I'd love to see filled out. And an ending where one could get BOTH Qara and Sand to NOT betray the PC? If the reason it has to be one or the other is that they're gunning for a more 'challenging' pre-final showdown, why not create ye olde evil 'shadow' copies of all or some of the companions to square off with the non-betrayers group? Fun for the whole family.
