A Small Measure of Peace
Should really put that CD on... Last Samurai soundtrack. Good stuff.
This is what I have found. It's not total peace, but it is peace.
I finally have money in my saving accounts again. Yay for 2 roommates, one of whom is paid for this month in full, the other will get it to me soon... at least I have her deposit.
They are nice girls, I just don't know how I will deal with the amount of estrogen in the house. Lol. I am just VERY glad I do not share a bathroom with them: I think they eat toilet paper... yeah, changed the roll this morning, and tonight. Oy. This is the only week I'm putting TP in there, and I think I'll go through half the package. Phylicia goes to Cortiva and Alex goes to ASU (film). They are nice, even if P doesn't know much about cooking and DESTROYED one of my new pans. *sigh* But they both love anime. ^^
We had a nice Chili dinner tonight with one of P's friends, Mike Z, Ryan, and Jill. It was good. Lots of booze here now. We may have a party soon. This place is starting to feel like home thanks to all the work Ryan and I have put into this house. I don't know what I would do without him. He's amazing.
We're going to Vegas for his birthday in March. I will have to fly out on his birthday in order to make it home in time to fly to Florida with the family, but at least I can spend a day or two with him.
My thumb is doing better. Will be able to look for a new job soon. :) Taking 9 credit hours for school including the online course for medical terminology. Should be no problem with all the House I watch... and growing up with a nurse and doctor in the house. Plus my many visits to the doc.
Won a cruise to the Bahamas. So Ryan and I will probably go in May, after school lets out. ^^
Well, I must attend to horses at 8, then work from 11-7ish... right through the big games! SO BUMMED! I want to be able to just WATCH the Packers take on the Giants. (and jump, and shout, and scream...) YAY Packers!
Time to sleep... after I see to these chapped hands and talk to my Love.
