Monday was the most delicious Monday ever. It was a long weekend and lots of teachers went on business trips or travelled so the omiyage (obligatory snacks) were flowing, some were on my desk when I arrived and others were being passed out all morning, myself included I did my fair share of handing out snacks. That sounds like a good trip - especially being out in the snowy onsen. (Maybe less so encountering creepy guys at the bars, but give a little, take a little, I guess.) Even if it doesn't become a tradition, I like to think that your snowman at least brought a bit of wonder to the next people who got to enjoy it. Who knows, maybe those yakuza guys appreciated a little bit of added cute in their day.
