your descriptions make me feel like i've been there. i guess i've always felt some sort of connection to new orleans since so many of my family members have lived there. i'd love to make a trip to NO sometime.

It was definitely a culture and country of it's own. Did you know that the Lousiana law system is different than the rest of the country? I'm thinking of going there to study law.
