i dont know if i am going to juarez yet. it depends how much the plance costs, if the opirg board approves to pay the 500 dollars, and if they choose me out of my amnesty group to get that 500 dollars.
if all that works in my favour and i can get it off work then i am so there!

Whoa, cool stuff! What's Amnesty doing down there? (I thought the explicit human rights abuse had mostly settled down, but what do I know). It would be a major eye-opener for sure...And just a couple hours away from elegant Los Angeles, eh? The world sucks like that.

theres a delegate program through the Mexico Solidarity Network. it's not an amnesty trip, but it involves working with women there who are trying to organize themselves against the 400 femicides and disappearances that have been happening, and amnesty does have a campaign on that.
