Well, I got it into my head that I wanted to make some homemade gifts this year. I decided that I wanted to make herb-infused oils to go with vinegar for salad or to bake french fries in or dip bread in, etc. It is really not that hard but it is a bit of a time consuming process. I only hope that the seals on my jars seal. I'm waiting for them to

When jamming, if the seals don't take, the jam is still good it just only last for up to a year. If the seal takes well it's good for as long as you want it to an extent.

Not sure if that holds true to herb infused oils though.
