More Snape/Rickman Feels

Well, I'm sitting here getting yet another of those pesky occular migraines that have been more frequent lately. For those not familiar with them, they are, essentially, the aura that comes with a migraine headache without the headache. My heart breaks a little every time I remember that we've lost him. He was one of my favorite actors long before Harry Potter. Just gutted.

Like many people, I'm rewatching a lot of his movies. He was just so multi-talented. One of the best movies of his was a little-known movie called 'Something the Lord Made'. It was based on a true story of the first heart surgery, done on a child back in the 30s. He had a black lab assistant and that was just not done then. Just a fabulous show.

Thanks. I feel so angry at this stupid disease (cancer). My own sister has it and her sister-in-law just passed away from it. So frustrating to me. We keep losing people to cancer and there is no reason why we shouldn't have a handle on this.

The ocular migraines are annoying, but I'm used to them. My doctors assure me they are harmless. And I'll take these over the painful ones I had when I was younger. Luckily, as soon as I hit menopause they disappeared.
