Chapter Three - Maybe He Wants Me, Maybe I'm Crazy

YooChun sighed inwardly as he brought the two cups of steaming coffee over to the table that Junsu was seated at. He placed his cup down on the coaster and sat down busying himself by blowing over the top of the cup, and staring into the dark rich chocolate of the hot liquid. It was silent for a few moments as the two men sipped idly on their coffee and then Junsu looked across the table and at YooChun.

"So how long have you been working here?"

"Since I was a kid." YooChun answered his eyes lifting up to meet Junsu's. "Why do you always come in here, you look like the type of person who'd be in some sort of high class VIP restuarant or something." YooChun observed.

"Is that what you think?" Junsu asked his voice dipping low a few octaves as he gazed at the other man, he then sat his coffee down and stared at it instead. YooChun was surprised at the sudden change in astmosphere, but he couldn't deny that he was curious. He nervously tapped the side of his cup as he waited for Junsu to answer. "I saw you painting over the letters outside the shop a few weeks ago..." he trailed off slightly, as if trying to find the right words in which to answer the question. "...and when I saw you I realized that even though I didn't know you, I wanted to get to know you." He then shrugged smiling slightly as his eyes met YooChun's shocked brown ones. "If that makes any sense."

YooChun looked away, guessing that it kinda did. But then again just what was Junsu trying to say? Did he want to get to know him as a friend, or more as than a friend? YooChun wasn't picky when it came to falling in love, but he did know that he preffered men. Junsu picked up his coffee and even though it was still slightly hot he downed it all in one gulp. YooChun was seriously expecting the man to jump up and scream demanding YooChun go and fetch him some water.

Just thinking about that made YooChun laugh slightly and Junsu raised an eyebrow. He then smiled and stood up.

"You have a nice laugh."

Junsu looked away and towards the door. "I really have to go got an important client and whatever, but I'll maybe stop by tomorrow...if your here." He then gave YooChun a meaningful look.

"I'm always here." YooChun replied without thinking. Junsu left out of the Ramen shop the little bell tinkling behind him. YooChun kept staring off after him even though he had been gone for well over five minutes now. JaeJoong walked over and tapped his shoulder.

"Maybe he likes you." He said casually leaning over to wipe off the table and pick up Junsu's coffee cup. YooChun looked away from the door and at JaeJoong.

"Maybe he's crazy." He retorted.

"Maybe your in denial!" JaeJoong retorted back.

"Denial of what?"

"In denial of your feelings towards Junsu, duh." JaeJoong answered sticking out his tongue.

"I don't have any feelings for him." YooChun denied in a low voice. JaeJoong snorted and walked off, YooChun sighed and slouched back in his seat. Junsu was cute, really cute, on the verge of being hot even-and it really seemed like the younger man was looking for something more when it came to YooChun, like he wasn't just looking for friendship, but a boyfriend. It was the way in which the younger man always asked for him, specifically him, and made sure that YooChun always sat with him when he did.

It was in the way he would gaze at YooChun like he was trying to figure him out, the way he would laugh whenever YooChun said something even though YooChun hadn't meant for it to be funny. It was the way he always threw him a casual compliment before he left, and always asked if YooChun would be there whenever he decided to drop back in. And YooChun realized that he liked that, he liked that a lot.

Maybe I do like him. YooChun smiled to himself and then got up to go assist JaeJoong in washing the dishes.

JaeJoong rubbed the back of his neck as he leaned against the counter. YooChun was busy counting the days money.

"I swear your dad's a slavedriver!" JaeJoong moaned as he laid his head up flat against the countertop.

YooChun chuckled. "You get use to it."

"Whatever. I better go out to the bus stop, I have to go pick up JaeSoong."

YooChun looked up. "When are you getting a car?" He asked while he opened up the cash resgister.

"Next month most likely, I'll have enough money for it by then-I was going to drive me and JaeSoong around all day once I finally get it!" JaeJoong answered smiling happily to himself as he envisioned the car in his mind.

"Hey! What about me? and we can even go and pick up my cute little nephew YooWan!" JaeJoong blanched. "I don't think him and JaeSoong have ever met, YooWan's a little older than him."

"The little monster kept accusing me of impersonating a man the last time I saw the little terror-" JaeJoong recalled absolute annoyance written across his face. YooChun burst into hysterical laughter.

"I remember that! He tried to rip your shirt off to see if you were hiding chest!, oh man, good times..."

JaeJoong rolled his eyes. The door to the Ramen shop opened and both men turned to see who had entered this time. YooChun's smile was fit to burst when he recognized the man at the door, JaeJoong thought his heart would burst out of his chest.

"YunHo?" He said wondering if he was seeing things.

YunHo recognized him and smiled. He had previsously been looking around the shop with a look of mild disgust on his face. "Jae, are you ready I came to pick you up."

What? JaeJoong thought as he stared in bewilderment at the other man. And when did I give him permission to shorten my name? JaeJoong frowned slightly as YunHo stopped infront of him. He wondered just what was this guy playing at and what made him think he could just come up and here and pick him up calling him Jae, like they were friends or something.

"A friend of yours Joongie-ah?" YooChun asked innocently, ignoring the look of death he recieved from said Joongie-ah.

"No!" He then turned to Yunho. "What are you doing here?"

"I thought I said it because I came in here to pick you up." YunHo repeated displeasure evident in his voice.

"I don't need you to come in here in pick me up!" JaeJoong walked pass him. "See you tomorrow YooChun!" JaeJoong pushed the door open and stepped outside walking in the direction towards the bus stop. Fingers around his wrist stopped him, YunHo whirled JaeJoong around his eyes blazing.

"Don't you ever walk away from me like that!" He yelled gripping JaeJoong's wrist, a pained expression swept across JaeJoong's face.

"You're hurting me..." He said trying to pull his wrist free.

"I'll hurt you even more if you don't get in that car, our kids are out of school we should go pick them up." YunHo let go of JaeJoong's wrist and pushed him towards the car. JaeJoong's heart was hammering painfully against his ribcage. Too scared to argue JaeJoong walked towards YunHo's car and got in.

YunHo got in soon after him and started up the car. JaeJoong sideglanced at him fearfully, and then quickly adverted his gaze when YunHo looked over at him.

"I'm sorry I sorta lost my temper."

JaeJoong looked down at his wrist which had a stinging red ring around it. He slowly nodded his head.

"It's okay, can we just go."

"Of course-" He paused. "I really am sorry, I just..." YunHo shook his head and pressed down on the gas. JaeJoong turned his head and stared out the window wondering with dread in his heart just what his encounter with YunHo this morning had gotten him into.

[I am officially through with school! YES! Although I do start College June 11. However I plan to update this more frequently since I'll be out of school for the next couple of days.]
