y^2 + z^2 = 14^2 ===> y^2 + z^2 = 196
x^2 + 10^2 = z^2 ===> x^2 + 100 = z^2 (substitute x^2 +100 in for z^2 in top equation)
x^2 + 4^2 = y^2 ===> x^2 + 16 = y^2 (substitute x^2 + 16 in for y^2 in top equation)
after you plug in those two equations, solve for x, and then you can plug in the value of x into the second and third equation to find y and z.
You should get x = square root of 40
y = square root of 56
z = square root of 140
those answers work so they should be right.........its all about the pythagorean theorem

woah i did it completely different. i dont understand how you got it.
to solve y i did 4/y=y/14 ==> which gives you y^2=56 ==> y=the square root of 56.
and for z i did 10/z=z/14 ==> that gives you y^2=140 ==> so z=the square root of 140
but how do you get x ?
