Finally! A morning that I can do what ever I want.. Those first four days at work were good - but I have to say getting up 5.30am every day is a tough one. I nearly forgot about pancake day, to be honest! I brought a cold back with me from PA, and on top of that, with my luggage being lost and the cold, I had no groceries, because TESCO online didn't deliver them. I was in quite a foul mood for a while, but got over it once Jen, our med-student/California flatmate, suggested that we have a pancake day celebration. It was nice.

Poor you, though! 5:30 am is a heckuva time to be getting up! I remember it well from being at Borders; that was when I usually had to get up to open the store. It was a nightmare, especially in the winter. You feel like you're the only one up. I was so glad to be switched to nighttime.

WOW! Caroline is in Copenhagen now--that'll be nice for you two to get to know each other better. Her name sounds vaguely familiar, but I can't picture her face. I might have met her once or twice, but that's it. Still, it's really cool to have that Cork connection back again.
