Maybe it's just me and a small percentage of people, but the notion of born-again virginity is kinda really dumb. What's up with this whole concept of purity and innocence? Is it always better to be pure and innocent than to be aware? It's like the argument on when Adam and Eve took the apple. God didn't want them to eat from the tree of knowledge, but why put it there if he hadn't wanted them to? To test their obedience? Well. It's nice to know that blind obedience is encouraged in your religion.
If you've had sex, then you've had sex. I don't see what the big deal is. This isn't the 19th century where they'll drown you in pig cages because you're not a virgin anymore, or if you're in the West, send you to a convent to repent forever for your one single "sexual misdeed".
Also I'm tired of people hearing the word "feminist" and converting it instantly to "misandrist". 8|
In other news, HK is awesome for coming up with a superhero-esque drama. I was going to type out the Chinese title because I can't remember the English, but it turns out that Taiwan-based Asus is a bigger fan of the Japanese than the Chinese understandably.
Back to the drama though- really? You can get a dose of testosterone from kissing a guy? It's incredibly campy and funny, but they need to take a leaf from Marvel in Doing It Right.
