Unfortunately, I am up to my eyeballs in real life and find time only for the most inane of comments. I keep intending to write and, in fact, one of your prompts sparked an idea that is growing but I'm a very slow burner. Also, it's going to be a longy and will probably take months to come into fruition.
So, abjectest of apologies from me and the warmest of Christmas wishes to you and all who sail with you.

Likewise, I hope people will respond to past prompts whenever they feel inspired. There are many community members who've now got an abundance of past prompts available. It would be great if they just started responding to some, not necessarily in order and not nocessarily all of them. Somebody mentioned they had an idea for a second drabble for a prompt they'd already used. I would urge them to go for it. Spinalcracker, do you agree with that?
A little more free-wheeling attitude on everyone's parts might get those creative juices going. Just start writing everybody!! Give us all something to read over the holidays.

Well, I know for me it's a combination of not owning a computer (soon to be remedied), being a slooooooooooow writer, and finding the 500-word limit very challenging.
BUT, I really hope we all get ourselves together because this community could be UTTERLY AMAZING if we do it right! Rah Rah Rabble Writers! Let's do this thing! Booyah! Slash galore for the New Year! Woot!
