It IS terrible! I'm a little worried about whether or not it will have a lasting effect on my hood- but, hey. The neighborhood is just for one family for one generation, so it probably won't cause problems in that brief period of time, right? I was simultaneously excited (funny pictures!) and terrified (broken hood!) when I saw it. So far, no problems!
And the house is not by me! It's by plasticbox at MTS2. Seraphine's first house was by plasticbox, as well! Her new house is Newbie Road 153, but I can't recall which house was her old one. I can look it up if it makes a difference, though! (I thought moving her into a premade starter house would be for the best, that way I could just get to playing and still not have to use money cheats.)
I agree, that walkby does look terrified. She was making the "are you crazy?" face, but it was probably more than a little mixed with utter fear.
And yes! Several of the gardeners were green-skinned. I got a "townies/NPCs can generate with alien skin and eyes" hack from MATY, so there was a 1 in 5 chance for alien-skinned Sims to generate. But maybe it ended up being a little more than that in reality... (I wonder if a Pollination Technician is responsible for beaming down gardeners...?)
I'm glad it made you happy to see this! It really isn't so bad to see in your game-- although it is pretty laggy. @_@ The worst part was having to move my Sims out and delete the lot as safety measures. Luckily I was considering moving Seraphine and Joris to another lot, so it wasn't so bad!
Ack! I can't imagine how annoying it would be if you had to reload from a long time ago, and it was on a lot that you didn't want to move away from! I hope your game was okay after you reloaded.
Yeah, my Sims tend to have rough lives. But it makes it more fun to play for me, so they'd better get used to it! Mwa ha ha ha! I'm sure compared to my game, the heir will be having a field day of joy and love in your game. I can't wait to see that! Also, thank you for commenting!
Luckily, I didn't lose too much when I re-loaded the lot. I was worried I had borked the neighborhood after generating so many new NPCs, though. That wasn't the case either (I eventually destroyed the hood due to SimPe idiocy, but that's another story). I still laughed a lot at all the gardeners, I even got some alien and zombie ones too!
Well, considering that at the Round Robin, every heir starts from zero (and my tendency to create drama), I'm not sure if it'll have a field day in my game, but we'll see :).
Oh, man, I've destroyed a neighborhood from SimPE idiocy, too. I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one! (Also: zombie gardeners! I knew I was missing something!)
Oh, no! Poor heir! I guess the Happypants are just going to be doomed to lives of woe, and gently weeping trousers. (Well... maybe, anyway!)

Walkby looks a tad scared here D:
And is it just me or were there a lot of gardeners of the green variety?

Oh, that glitch is SO annoying! I had it once in my legacy hood and had to re-load my game without saving. I was not amused by this, of course! :/
What a rough start for poor Nadia Seraphina! Hope things improve in her new home :).
