As much as I hate to do it, I have to let my flute go. I need the money for both myself, and my father, who is having a retina reattachment procedure soon. The procedure is covered by his minimal insurance, but not his time off work, which will be a minimum of two weeks, which sucks

He actually doesn't wear glasses/contacts/corrective lenses, because the eye in question was damaged as a child, giving him roughly 20/800 vision, but near perfect in the other, so he never bothered with it. Mostly, he sees light and shadows, but it does still give him depth perception, oddly enough.
I've heard that there is a SLIGHT possibility that the scar tissue may be lessened in the process though, so he might get a little more than he had...if anyone can do it, it would be U of M health systems.
