ooooh double parentheses...in math one is attacked by armies of brackets, so parentheses are a nice relief.

AP Euro is a devilish dream. But only that. Except for when the answer on Jeopardy is the Moors, about whom you happen to learn in the first chapter. But no one's life is really like Jeopardy, though.

Perhaps homework is harder than cross-country because it offers less visible signs of progress. After completing a paper one does not get the same tangible view as when summiting a mountain.

I have an idea for the summer. It's called OM week. All of us old OMers get together and OM. Its the most OMish thing of all to OM without OM.

(Singing for the students at Wildwood today I wanted to be a third grader.)

no, there's nothing wrong with your brain -- ap euro just likes to kll us all by having everything due on the same day, and have so much work that no matter how much you do there's always more, more, more.

That matzoh ball story just made my day too:)
