I remember this one time at JCA camp when it was show and tell. Jonah was presenting his trombone, and this kid asked, "What if you mess up?" Jonah said that it didn't matter if it wasn't a concert. haha, what have you read by her? I was thinking of dreamland . . . the main character's recovery from her abusive boyfriend is compared to swimming up toward the surface of an ocean throughout the last thirty pages.

haha, I don't know if I've read anything specifically by her, but basically every young adult book I've read is like that.
