It's amazing how once you begin to specialize in academics, your concept of celebrity changes. Two years ago I attended a lecture at Harvard with my bio professor. Peter Grant was giving a tribute lecture to Ernst Mayr. Grant and Mayr on the stage together and I didn't have my camera!
Crusty old academic types are wonderful. I imagine Chomsky is very crusty. Enjoy!
