I need people to answer a question for me.
Why are you in college?
What are your specific, personal reasons for doing this?

I'm in college to learn all the stuff I need to do all the things I've been wanting to do or have been doing forever, properly. Also, to satisfy my curiosity about everything that's ever interested me, and see whether any of these things is the love of my life which I need to do forever.

Also, because I'm a pretentious asshole, and a pretentious asshole that's uneducated is just silly.

I want to be a librarian. Official, actual librarians are required to have a Master's degree in Library and Information Sciences.

It's very hard to get a Master's without getting a Bachelor's first. (There are programs like that, but they don't do it with MLIS degrees.)

I also really like learning shit, and I'm happy to have this weird measure of independence without having to actually be an adult, but especially lately it all comes down to what I think I want to do with my life. A year and a half ago, that wasn't the case. But that's what it's become.

I need money. I hate work. Hopefully if I work hard now I can relax a little later on.

I'm in college as it's the thing that provides me with some form of daycare for just a little bit longer.
