I think our culture is becoming one where everything is so immediate and concise that my desire to write anything long and drawn out fueled by believing that someone will read it is preeeettty low

You're doing great girl. Don't worry about the scale, I say...stay off of it. For one, with all the working out you are going to build muscle and that weighs more. You're loosing inches and that's what counts in the end and what counts more than that is that you're feeling better. It doesn't matter if you're ever "skinny" some people just aren't...but your health will thank you for the exorcise either way...so just keep with it!
