Considering that you and I are built roughly the same way, the way you look is something to be majorly proud of. I don't think you needed to lose weight in the first place-- you're pretty sexy, truth be told. I'm focusing on getting more lean muscle and I figure the rest will take care of itself; my doctor told me she doesn't think I'm overweight, just out of shape.

Good luck with packing for Senegal-- I'm so excited for you! It's going to be a fantastic adventure. Keep me posted!

thanks :) i do have a crazy family history of diabetes though (all the women on my mom's side have it, including my mom, who is 5'2 and 110 lbs) so even if i do everything right, i could still get screwed.

the getting read for abroad will happen... always manages to get done.

I don't pay attention to weight, so I've no words of wisdom there. But Luna bars are yummy.

But, I live for What Not To Wear. Changed my life. And pointy toe shoes aren't all bad ;)

i hate pointy toe shoes - i have wide feet so they dont feel right and i still think they look like something a witch would wear. plus having like an inch of shoe with no foot inside of it... not a fan.

but i do like some of their tips, like natural fabrics rather than polyester. i've been doing lots of that lately, especially since im going to a country that is 85 degrees everyday, and its much more comfortable and flattering.

however, i am still addicted to buying clothes from catalogues, which they dont like because you cant try them on, but since few people do it, i get more unique and less seen clothes :)

I'm a fan of flat shoes generally -- I've decided to embrace my height (at least that's what I'm telling myself)... and I found a really cute pair of pointy toes from naturalizer. I realized my left foot is a size 7.5 and wide and my right is closer to an 8 and normal width... so that's irritating.

And I have really crappy luck buying stuff from catalogues cuz I'm a funny shape -- but I still try sometimes!
