Hi Celtic!

Events like that cause deep wounds, thus the scar will always be there. I think it is one more question of forgiving and understanding; neither you or your mother are guilty, he had an incurable health problem and you've done all you could. And although he was with you only for one year, that happened for a reason; it was meant to be. He has fulfilled his mission, and you and your family have certainly experienced things you wouldn't experience if it wasn't for him. And things that you were meant to live and learn.
I know speaking is easy, and I can only imagine what you and your family have been through. But I know how it is to loose a beloved one. It's painful, but we never really loose them; they remain forever in our hearts. :)
