I really liked this! It was very subtle and the character voices were spot on.

I like the additions you made.

You know, when I read this the first time, I assumed the announcement they had was that they were getting married...

But I've now read it a second time, and it seems to me that it could be that they are already married and maybe they are having a baby? (And I suspect you left this open to interpretation on purpose? ;-p )

I did indeed. ;) The statement "we have an announcement to make" is almost always followed by good news, so I figured it could be whatever the reader thinks would be good for them.

My baby-fic mind went to baby too. :) I assumed they were already married as well!

Hijacking this comment to comment that I loved this fic -- the little inserts of lines from Logan's life were lovely and fitting and sometimes heartbreaking, and I loved the Logan/Keith bit at the end. So happy to see a VM fic from you, I love your stuff!

This is so lovely! Broken!Logan is delicious to read but it's really nice to see him happy for once-and seeing him with Veronica makes it twice as good. Love it <3

I think that those crazy kids could still make it work, with a little growing up and with Logan getting some distance from his awful family.
