Hi Flist,

I haven't been around much (again!), so my apologies for not keeping up with your posts. I hope you're all doing well.

I had a great visit with caarirose, who came all the way from Australia to hang out with friends in the US, see a little band we like to call Kane ;), and go to Wincon. Wincon was great fun, as always. Giant, sentimental hugs to ( Read more... )

I'm glad you've been dialing up the podfics, including the recs as well the creation.

You mentioned podficcing some of my stories at one time, and please feel free-- anything you want!

Did you make it to Wincon this year? I can't remember. New Orleans is at least closer to Colorado than to Sacramento, but there are those pesky finances to consider. :(

Hope the holiday prep, whatever that entails, is going well for you. Don't be a stranger!

Wow, you have no idea how much of a compliment it is for you to give me permission to podfic some of your stories. I admire your writing so much! A thought off the top of my head - if you had in mind a list of your drabbles you particularly like, or think go well together, we could collaborate on putting together a collection or two. I love the form, and you're the master. I don't generally record or listen to really short podfic, though (although streaming is changing that), so a good, substantial list of drabbles might be a great project.

I went to Wincon, and thought of you often. I'd never been to New Orleans before, so it was too hard to resist even though I couldn't really afford the money or the time away from work. It was a lot of fun and I'm glad I went, but I figured I'd have to skip next year (Dallas). However, the organizers are making affordability a priority next time, so it's possible. It would be great to see you again!

I hope your holiday prep is going better than mine :-/
