I saw one of the best orchestras in the world in person last night: The New York Philharmonic. All I can say is "Wow!" I was so extremely excited to hear Thomas Stacy play the Largo of Dvorak's New World Symphony! It was so pure, so beautiful. I am still in awe. The NYP also played a symphony by Bartok and TWO encores!!! They were Hungarian

i saw them play mahler 5 last night and it was awesome!! joe robinson didn't really impress me, but that brass section was the best i've ever heard. lucas roll would be proud of the bass trombonist!!
