You know, what does it really take to be forgiven? True there are some things that seem unforgiveable, and others that truely are unforgettable, verging on the unforgiveable. But where is that line? You know, I remember something a priest once said during a sermon he gave -- he asked what happens after the party for the prodigal son. Do things just go back to the way they were? What has to change? And maybe forgiveness lies in the change, in the examining of what was done and the recognition that something new is taking place now. Acceptance alone will just breed problems again.
