metrosexual? i would take it as a complement if i were you, that means you dress well, and have good hygene... maybe. well i'm sure it doesnt mean just that, but whats wrong with being that. i'm sure it gets annoying since you dont want to be known as just that, but at least you're recognized for your good taste in clothing. i dig you max!

What is that supposed to mean. You don't like it? You think it's stupid? Hypocritical? Whiny? What?

What a meaningless comment.

being labeled is something that happens and will never stop happening. You're being labeled on your style, something you can change and control, I don't think you have the right to compare it to judgement by race, religion or sexual orientation. you don't have it bad, if you don't like being called metro, dont wear tight jeans, if you dont want to be judged like a skater, drop the etnies. I wear nice clothes to job interviews because I know i'm being judged on what I say just as much as how I look. So like I said, quit complaining because of your "good fashion sense" that you get from the mall, or take it as a compliment, it's obviously what you're going for. Usually what guys wear is just a reflection of who they want to attract anyway.

alright, good point on the race and religion thing, it's not really comparable. I was just trying to show how simply calling someone a metro, or a jock, or something like that is simplifying who they are by fitting them into a little preconcieved "grouping".

I just saw the labeling of groups like that to be a lesser version of labeling people by race and religion. But, you're right, I went too far.

my bad.
