Everything in this world seems controlled by money. I know that's not a very original observation, but the extent to which it controls us kind of amazes me. It doesn't just control business, politics, and social structures, but it seems to control our aspirations, self-control, and our very morals. That being said...

If someone was offering you ( Read more... )

I wouldn't kill him, I'd lock him up and force him to drink nothing but prune juice and only be allowed to eat sauerkraut. And I force him to watch mary kate and ashley movies 24-7

Hm...while I'll honestly admit that for enough money, I would probably kill certain people...I can't see myself being able to take you out, Max.
Actually, I don't think I could kill most people I know for any amount...

Enough money so I could buy my own country... so don't worry about it. That probably won't happen anytime... anytime soon at least.

The life of a bounty hunter does intrigue me though, however money doesn't hold much value to me. Maybe we could work something out... could I kill you for something else?

Actually I really don't think I have it in me to kill someone, but unfortunately killing is one of those things that gets easier the more you do it.

See, the thing is, I don't think most people would do what you think they would really do for money.

Exaple; 78% of people said they would sleep with someone the age of their parent for $5,000. However, when a man my father's age actually asked my sister to sleep with him for $15,000 and all her student debt erased she said it was not hard at all to turn him down. So is Kelly just a paragon of morality? Doubtful, but possible. I prefer to think that most people have a bit more self-control than you would think.

Holy. Fucking. Shit.

When you said your dad was an asshole you weren't kidding. I mean...good god. Your mom must rue the day she married him...

However, that being said, I'm not sure your example is all that relevant...

Someone my dad's age. Not my dad.

He is an ass-hole, but not that bad. Not nearly.

The relevancy being; People said that they would do it for money, however, when faced with a real oppertunity to do so, my sister said "no" even though she herself thought she would be able to.
