Fetus Dreams and other enigmas

All of my conflicts are appearing in my dreams. The ones of the past, the people who either blatantly abused my kindness and generosity or demanded that I change according to their dictates or decided I should be blamed for all of their problems, failures and fears.
I've been a magnet for those types, in the end I get either wake up or get sick

love. love. love. i know it sounds rididulous but you and Martin will create your own world for your child. love is at the center and spills out. i had the same fears while pregnant but now, i'm too busy to be afraid of what and in what areas the world will fail her. because she will learn love.

it's not without heartbreaks, the world, but for a time you will be truly too busy to care.

as far as family goes, i know the insecurities families can create but your mother and grandmother taught you well. the past is the past. things come up but mostly you can leave it there.

An American election of a ceasar and the Gregorian calendar will turn to 2013. My daughter graduates in 2013. The Mayans had run out of rock to do their long count, but it is nothing different than us in the modern age changing a calendar.

Sorry, I lived through two raptures and Y2K, and nothing happened other than the doomsday zealots backpedaling over their prophecies being horribly wrong. Kind of funny, but, because of that, I cannot take the whole 2012 hype seriously. It is hubris to try and give a date the world will end, just as it is to try and second-guess the will of the Divine.

As to wondering how to deal; try doing for you and what you believe is right. Fuck everyone else.

I'm not referring to the end of the world, as most people like to interpret the Mayan's prophecy to mean - just that something major is going to happen to change the way we live. They were aware of the cycles of more than our planet, charting changes in the solar system's other masses. They just happened to use a different way of expressing their observations which makes people think it's all mystical bs

That's interesting. Of course, humanity could also be wiped out by a comet or asteroid the size of Pavarotti's ass, like the one that got the dinosaurs, sixty-five million years ago. Another possibility is another ice age, due to happen within the next ten to twenty thousand years, in which most of North America would be under miles of ice. We could get into the theories of climate change or the fact that if monkeys don't watch it, they might just drive themselves to extinction by being jackasses. If nothing else, the sun will consume the world when it becomes a red giant in the next five billion years

You can choose your friends, but you can't choose your family. Stay firm, and just try and retain a discreet and polite distance from their problems. Don't let everyone else drag you down
