Have to look that one up - never heard it before. I only have one of their albums. Is it really better than the McKennitt version? I love the dogs baying in the background, suggesting a Wild Hunt...

It's on FISHERMAN'S BLUES. Wouldn't say it's better, but an entirely different mood than the LMcK version...intimate.

The Solas version of Unquiet Grave made the cut. Most of the others weren't available in the very limited time I had to put this together. Some of them I didn't quite get the connection, like the Parish of Dunkeld and The Curlew (great song and tune, just not sure how it fits the theme).

Bit late now, but Martin Carthy's version of the trad Famous Flower of Serving Men is quite spooky, and dark.
