Congratulations! I haven't been on here in ages either and you are my first comment! I miss you! Awesome about the grad schools. I hope the one you like best pans out. I have some good news of my own. (I'm going to post about it as well.) I have an interview with Portrait Innovations at 2 on Thursday. I have been wanting this job for a while now and I am beyond excited about it! I can't wait! And I hope to see you soon. We need to catch up!
I always knew you were a creeper anyway. Heck, I'm probably part of the reason you're such a creeper, having roomed with you junior year and all. We need to talk sometime.
Seems LJ is starting to dwindle a bit... I'm still here though mainly because I post my photos here as well as on FB and on my own blog as well. OCD maybe...I dunno.
Good luck on the grad school front. Living in a different country is stressful enough, at least in the UK they speak English...though one a tad different :) Every time I hear stuff like this I hear Eddie Izzard's bit about how the two countries pronounce things differently...
Anyway, go where you want to. You have both that freedom and luxury! Many people don't have that wonderful combination. If you need to come back for a weekend, do so. Miss the wedding? Well, that's up to you and your friend. Though more up to you than anything and I would hope your friend will understand too. But you can cross that bridge when you get to it. No sense worrying about something when you haven't sent out the applications yet!
So yeah, do what you want while you can! :) Sounds like you're keeping yourself incredibly busy. I'm sure I'll catch you on FB or something :)

"You pronounce it erbs, we pronounce it herbs, don't we, because there's a fucking H in it!"
Thanks. I needed the reassurance.
