It's so amazing that not being busy doesn't mean you'll actually DO something...

I felt about the same way the summer before I started grad school. Which makes me feel better about how paranoid I was then, actually. I ended up sending a, "Hey, I'm still admitted, right?" email to one of the people in the department offices. So, you could do that. Apparently it's not an uncommon impulse. :)

Oh, good. I'm not the only one! So did they end up sending you info? When? I just remember the veritable deluge of "this is how it's going to work" for undergrad, and I feel a little lost without it.

They basically just said, "Yeah, you're good." They gave me more specific answers when I asked specific questions. They did send me the official stuff, but I can't remember when. I think that if you email maybe somebody in the office and ask if you're getting more info and when, they'll let you know. As far as your job stuff goes, you'll probably want to email those people and ask.

I know what you mean about feeling lost without the deluge of info. There's a lot less hand-holding in the grad school process. They expect you to, like, be responsible for yourself and stuff. Laaame.
