I am in my first semester of grad school and it is KICKING MY ASS, but I love the people and I can't imagine myself anywhere else. Sorry to hear that grad school is going all Mike Tyson on you. But you are smart and driven and you can accomplish anything. I look forward to hearing about your educational exploits.

Why thank you! Hopefully over Christmas I'll have some time to post or email you or something to let you know what an insane semester this has been. A good chunk of my misery is the Latin for Historians class that is exactly as excruciating as it sounds, perhaps more so. I only have three meetings of it left, though, and it may have led me toward a better understanding of where I want to go in my field, so that's something.
