I forgot to add to the last entry about "Twilight". That whole thing with vampires not being able to go into the sunlight? Total myth. They don't go in the sun because when they do THEY ARE TOO SPARKLY

so monday i was working the desk at the library and an older teen came looking for twilight. and i found a copy for her, and looked at the cover, and thought, "hmmm. i like teen novels. peeps was fantastic! maybe i should try another teen vampire story?"

and then you posted your review. bullet dodged. thank you.

Um, it was kind of good for a laugh? By the end of the second one I was almost ready to slit my wrists just to get away from the horror, but then I went and read several thousand words of SPN fic before I went to sleep. I had to do SOMETHING to keep the nightmares brought on by that book away.

Also, like JKR, Stephenie Meyer needs better editors. Not only did they allow her to publish that literary monstrosity, but they also missed several blatant typos (as in whole words inserted, not just spelling mistakes etc) and grammatical errors. grrr.
