Thank you so much for supporting this story! I am so sorry the ending was a bit of a disappointment, but I think it suits Beckett's character. He isn't one to admit his true feelings and having Maggie around would be a great danger to him, in a way. You are right though, death might have been the better way to go for Maggie, because at least then she would be at peace. But I think right now she would live just to spite Beckett. After all, she does want to have her revenge.

I really do hope I have time for the sequel. *crosses fingers* I have a writing project that I need to finish up this weekend and then I want to wait until I get my course outlines this week. But if everything goes according to plan, I should have time to start writing next weekend.
