If you've been following along with our intrepid adventurers, you know that a week ago it was snowing here. Today, it's the the 80's. And since both Shannon and I had the day off, we decided to do a little exploring.
We chose the Huntington Reservation, a park/beach area very close by on Lake Erie. While people here took advantage of the weather to lay out on the beach and sunbathe, we decided it would be more exciting to go play on the icebergs.
Yep, you heard me. This particular beach has four stone jetties, and they had trapped huge mounds of snow and ice between them. We've just spent the afternoon mountain climbing out on Lake Erie. Ohio is weird.
All that brown? That's just dirt on the snow and ice.
