i'm adopting a cat tomorrow afternoon. i'm really excited to bring him home. he's a sweetheart; and the bonus is that he's already neutered AND declawed! he's polydactyl, which is pretty awesome too. all i need is a name. i've been thinking on it for days now and am still uncertain. i have a tough time with things like that. parker was already 3

Congratulations on the new Felis silvestris catus. How about "Count Rugen" the "six-fingered man" from the Princess Bride? Or Joe as a homage to Ernest Hemingway and his cats? In any event good luck with the name quest.

And also congrats to Parker on his incipient deciduous dentition. Molars are great!

I also agree that it's much easier to feel organized, clear, and content with your life if your space is relatively clean and ordered. I also find that exercise and sunshine are critical for me. If I'm stuck inside in a messy house my outlook on life rapidly degrades. Anyway, I hope the early spring cleaning brings you much happiness.
