Ok I never read any books but from the statement I quess it is from Clinton's book My Life. Or a book about Nixon because they are the only two presidents that I know had impeachment trials.

Good guess but it's from Profiles In Courage where there's a chapter about Andrew Johnson. He was president after Lincoln and Congress hated him and tried to get rid of him. He was acquitted. Nixon resigned before he could be impeached.

Yeah, I spend too much time reading :-P
