Alex and I went to hang out with Johnny and Juan. It was a fun afternoon for the most part... we watched the Family Guy Star Wars thing which was way too damn funny... and then we hung out chatting and watching random things on television

1) make yourself happy first

2) other meds available w/o the weight problems? i took a medicine for my back that had steroids in it and it made my face really POOF out and its never quite recovered, and the rest of me followed... i really was a poofter, so to speak. ;)

3) sometimes not saying anything is the best. my dad's theory of interpersonal relationships, i.e., dealing with mom, was always take the path of least resistance (I guess it was the lingering physicist in him that lead him to always follow that theory of dealing with life.)

I would say to tell them but from what I know of them, they would just turn it around on you rather than listen and try to have some understanding. Unfortunately that is how a lot of people are these days. I also think that you just need to say the hell with everyone else and decide what is best for you, whether it be on the meds and not quite where you want to be physically or get back to where you want to be physically and pay a different price. Unfortunately there will be a price you have to pay, its just a matter of deciding what one it is. Though elder made a good point of asking about other meds, which I would find out about if possible
