Registrar is stupid. Seriously; I think you have to have an IQ of no more than your shoe size to work there. Walk on over to registrar and (calmly) tell them your story and they.... should.... set things straight. Old documents stating that you should always get your out of state fee waived would really help.
I know there are some nice people at the Comptroller's office. Especially the head of the department. Most of them are kind of scary, but he's good about clicking the buttons that make everything right again.
if your GPA drops below 3.0 they take away the out-of-state waver. i guess they don't notify people because they put the little *contengent upon satisfactory academic standing* or whatever on there, and they check the GPAs after classes start.
How do you get the out of state tuition waiver? Zac desperatly needs it and they told him he had to have a 3.5, which he only has a 3.2 right now??? He is a transfer student don't know if that makes a difference?
when you get the waiver because of the ACT score, you just have to maintain a 3.0 i looked on the admissions website and to qualify for it as a transfer student you do have to have a 3.5 coming into the university, though.
