There's no "spirit in the air" feeling for me. Christmas season feels empty. I go shopping and see all the greedy, snobby, stuck up, lunatics ripping through merchandise with no respect for employees or the hard work it took to arrange the items on the shelf... fussing and whining about standing in lines, yelling at their children, yacking on their ( Read more... )

And the earth destroyers and their Christmas lists? Yes, I've had quite enough of them and their nonsense, too. I know what you mean, jelly bean.

Beer, chocolate, dumplings, and marinated mini-weenies were all consumed happily... not altogether, of course.

In the future, I think Christmas shopping is going to be a pre-Thanksgiving event for me. I know I always say that, but every year I feel more strongly about it.
