New Oil Painting

So, it only took me 6 years to find the inspiration to paint again. It's probably been about 10 years since I did an oil painting. I know it's really sad. My ENTIRE lifelong portfolio was lost in the flood, so this is the beginning of my post-K portfolio. It's not 100% complete, but it's getting there. Anyhow, here it is.

FANTASTIC! So beautiful and what a hard angle to paint at...but you managed it perfectly.

I never learned to paint with oil and I realized that I had given 99% of my paintings and drawings away to people most of the time and never kept a portfolio for the most part.

I should probably get on the ball like yourself, but have been completely uninspired to work on art right now *sigh*

WOW!! You can become the modern day "Bluedog" artist! Hes made millions on his blue dog paintings..You could be known as the "tan terrier" artist. Very cute!

Hehehe... After realizing how difficult it is to paint Rex, I'm thinking of sticking to photos. He's definitely a money-maker!

Thanks! Watercolors are also awesome and take a lot of skill. The reason I love oils so much is it's easy to cover up mistakes, which I make a lot : )
