I'm prepared and will be staying at the in-laws until I can return home. Joy. I'm de-sensitized from K, so not too emotionally concerned here. Just a pain in the ass with a feeling like a sinking boulder in my tummy. Preparation is the key factor here, and it seems like everyone is making wise decisions ( Read more... )

Thanks. You stay safe too. I'm settled in my "safe-ground" now... ended up leaving Saturday night instead of Sunday. I hope you didn't get stuck in the bad traffic they're showing on TV. Well, I trust Nash more than any other news people, so let's hope he's right :/

I'm picking up on Keith's sister's wireless signal from about an acre away, but it's weak, and won't last long, so I'll try to keep up on here.

*Hugs*

Yeah, after the last two days, it got much worse, and now it's weakened. Let's just hope it doesn't strengthen again. I don't feel safe here in Ponchatoula, but it's really not my decision to be here. We are north of 22, but only by a mile or two.... and 35 feet above sea level. Mum got to evacuate, so that's a relief. This aint gonna be any fun. I just hope I'll be able to get home shortly after with minimal to no damage. The trees and tornadoes are my main concern here.

Ya'll stay safe.
