Job Interview

So I totally aced my interview today (woot!) and chatted with the guy who would be my manager for about an hour. I really, really liked him. Calm, easy going, had a sense of humor and a real team mentality (as in comments like "You'd be working *for* me in the sense that I'll do your performance reviews and things like that, but day to day you'd ( Read more... )

I know Ed, and thanks for the comment. Everybody is always on their best behavior at an interview anyway. I know it shouldn't set any expectations. If I get the job, I'm sure I'll be complaining about something within a month, it will just be nice to have a different set of problems, and hopefully a set that will at least pale in comparison to what I have now. :)

I'm wondering if the Nextel that you interviewed at is the same where my friend Lani works...that would be too cool. I didn't see her at the dinner I went to tonight, but I'll still keep after her!

I was wondering myself. Nextel has three (I think) big buildings in Reston, just off the Toll Rd.

Best of luck for your second interview!

As someone said already, in every office, there is someone that is very annoying. It's just another type of problem than the one that you presently have. Hopefully that will be more tolerable. ;)
