There's a secret power in this universe.
It's secret because people can't really explain it. 
It's will.The will to live.
The will to win.
The will to succeed.
The will to do.

It's amazing the power that will has.  People have done amazing things with it.

Like in Life of Pi, Pi has the will to live and ends up making it through.

True where theres a will theres a way, yet sitting around wishing hopeing and waiting isn't going to acomplish anything you have to DO something I can will my tea to reheat all I want but it's not going to happen unless I get up and microwave it put it in the sun in a pot or in general near some source of heat. Now some kind soul may come by and ask would you like your tea reheated? ... and then proceede to do so but thats coincedence. Pi had a will to live THEREFORE he fished used the solar stills and in general implemented life saving techniques. Long and short I belive will provides motivation but it is the implementation or the doing that that motivation causes that will lead to accomplishment.

i sort of agree, but i also agree with anonymous. will is a great thing, but it is great because it leads to great actions. example: this kid sits alone at the lunch table. i "will" them to have friends, because i feel bad for them. eventually someone may come sit next to them. but it's not because i "willed" them to have friends. my willing them to have friends didn't do them any good. to really make a change, i should have gone to sit next to them.
though i am with ev on this: "maybe because God sense what we really want to happen and aids us?" God knows everything we want, and will help us out on his timing.
