So much loss of dear ones.. I had to stop writing for a while because it just seemed to hurt so much. Every time I turned around I've been losing another friend. I hadn't posted since just before Boars hunt. Well the SCA season is now over. And yet again at Banner War I was having a memorial for a dearly loved one. I'm sorry for your losses. The death of a loved one can hit very hard. I hope you are OK. If you need company, call me, I'll be there if you need it.

I wasn't able to attend BW, but I had a shot of Rum and the mini horn filled with mead in remembrance to the times drinking I had with Karl Redstone. I don't think I remember this person, but there will be a shot on the alter for Jesse from now on.

Remember the times with lost ones, don't mourn, but remember the good times and be happy you were able to share those times with them. My little BW ritual for Karl is the one moment I mourn him, but it's not mourning in the sense, I consider it emotional remembrance, because despite the tears that flow, the smile on my face is ever so wide.

Keep a chin up captain, they're always with you.

We need to get together soon. I have something for you that's been sitting in my garb tote for sometime.
