The Harry Potter Apocolypse

Dexter
We put Dexter down today. Our oldest cat still too young at age 10. He had cancer that manifested itself as a tumor in his mouth. We knew he had about 3 months with him and tried to make things as comfortable for him as possible. We did our best to spoil him. But last night he took a turn for the worse. Mother's Day
My mom went in to the hospital today. Actually she was there Wednesday as well, but I just found out about that today too. A "mini-stroke" on Wednesday had her calling 911 for assistance, and while she was recovering alright, my niece dropped by to check in on her to discover continued dizziness and a frighteningly low pulse rate.
